Unless we’re about to see a major dispute over intellectual property, it looks like the two studios are working together, with Night Dive ostensibly as publisher. Greg LoPiccolo composed the score and worked on the sound effects for System Shock 1. Interestingly, Night Dive Studios claimed to have acquired the System Shock license some time ago, allowing them to not only remaster the last two games but begin work on a remake. Tim Stellmach, credited as the original designer of System Shock, is a Lead Designer at OtherSide Entertainment. That includes OtherSides creative director Paul Neurath (System Shock, System Shock 2), lead designer Tim Stellmach (System Shock, Thief: The Dark Project). Odd that the announcement page is already accessible. ![]() That’s right, developer OtherSide Entertainment ( Ultima Underworld) has pseudo announced via a not so subtle teaser site that they’re working on the first new game in the System Shock series in 16 years. Funny enough, the countdown clock on OtherSide’s site has over 5 days until it reaches 0. Welp, with a remake on the way from Night Dive Studios of the original System Shock, I suppose now’s a good time to announce the next entry in the twenty year old series – System Shock 3.
